Two Western officials told Middle East Eye: Turkey and Israel held talks on establishing a deconfliction line in Syria. Negotiations continued after recent airstrikes on airports and military sites in Syria. Despite public threats, Israel is likely to accept the presence of Turkish military bases in Hama and Palmyra.
