1 week agoSecurity forces conducted an anti-ISIS raid in Kanaker, S. of Damascus. 3 fighters were arrested after clashes. Truck full of weapons and ammunition was seized, including TNT, IEDs and silencers (suggesting this cell was involved in assassinations)
Field sources told Al-Araby Al-Jadeed that two airstrikes targeted the Mansoura and Badia Ratla areas in the countryside of Raqqa Governorate, northeastern Syria.
A brutal crackdown is currently ongoing in the southern city of Suwayda. At least two Druze clerics, Raed al-Matni and Maher Falhout, were kidnapped by the National Guard, the militia of warlord Hikmat al-Hijri. The bodies of both men were dumped outside the hospital days later.
