2 month agoA Daraa 24 correspondent reported that Internal Security vehicles entered the city of Tafas in the western countryside of Daraa Governorate, with the aim of intervening in the ongoing conflict there. Daraa 24 had monitored the outbreak of clashes hours ago as a result of a renewed dispute between members of two families, where light weapons, RPG shells and hand grenades were used, resulting in the death of one person and the injury of four others, including a woman. In addition, cases of burning houses were also recorded, some of which were burned after the security forces entered

A source in the Health Directorate told Suwayda 24: Seven bodies arrived at Suwayda National Hospital, via the Red Crescent, after they were recovered from the town of Lahatha, north of Suwayda Governorate. The source added that the bodies of the dead are in a state of decomposition, some of which have been identified as civilians from the town, including a woman, while the identification of the remaining bodies is in progress. The town of Lahatha, located on the Damascus-Suwayda road, was subjected to successive attacks in mid-July by the Interim Government forces and armed groups loyal to them, as they carried out field executions against the remaining residents. The town also witnessed widespread looting and looting operations, in addition to the systematic burning of property.
