South Syria: tribal fighters who came from other regions are also progressively withdrawing from Suwayda province, in conjunction with the deployment of the Security forces in the area (mostly in the Western countryside). nThe Security forces also arrived in Walgha (NW. outskirts of the city)
Calm returns to Sweida after security forces deploy
More than 40 trucks loaded with relief supplies are being sent by the Syrian government to Busra al-Sham for delivery to Sweida.
US embassy Syria said Special Envoy Ambassador Tom Barrack met with SDF General Commander Mazloum Abdi to discuss the current situation in Syria and the need for urgent steps to restore calm and stability. They also discussed practical steps towards integration into a unified Syria for a peaceful, prosperous, inclusive and stable future for all Syrians. They agreed the time for unity is now.

New statement by the Spiritual Presidency of the Druze Monotheists Hikmat Al-Hijri: Based on the negotiations that took place under the auspices of the guarantor countries, the following was agreed upon: 1. Deployment of Public Security: Public Security checkpoints will be deployed outside the administrative borders of As-Suwayda Governorate, with the aim of controlling clashes and preventing the infiltration of any groups into the governorate. 2. Border villages: No party will be allowed to enter the border villages for 48 hours from the time of the agreement, in order to allow the deployment of security forces from the other side, to avoid any surprise attacks. 3. Bedouin tribes: Those remaining inside the governorate from the tribes will be allowed to exit safely and securely, accompanied by security personnel from the factions operating on the ground, without any objection or abuse from any party. 4. Humanitarian Exit Crossings:n Safe exit crossings for emergency and humanitarian cases will be identified via:n ; Busra al-Harirn ; Busra al-Shamnn 5. Controlling the movements of civil groups: We call on all civil groups to refrain from leaving the administrative borders of As-Suwayda Governorate, and to avoid any provocations or combat movements
