The Syrian government closes the Aleppo-Raqqa road after the SDF militias attacked Syrian army positions in the Deir Hafer axis.
The SDF/PKK militia shelled the populated village of Tell al-Ma'az, northeast of Deir Hafer in the eastern Aleppo countryside. This followed an earlier shelling by the SDF/PKK of a Syrian army position east of the Hamimah area in Deir Hafer, also in eastern Aleppo. The Syrian army responded by shelling several SDF positions around Deir Hafer with rocket launchers and drones.
